Job description
The NOC Network Operations center staff has the responsibility of monitoring and maintaining the network, servers and any telecommunications equipment in NOC. When the system malfunctions, the NOC technician troubleshoots the systems, applications and network, makes repairs and gets the system back up as quickly as possible.
He has to:
- Provide 24 hour Systems health surveillance and alarm reporting utilizing systems/network monitoring.
- To ensure maximum possible service availability and performance;
- Attending daily tasks, alerts, incidents…etc.
- Review and general clean-up of Ticket queue.
- Provide support services for Engineering and other technical teams
- Ensure timely resolution to trouble tickets.
- Ensure timely follow up with customers via e-mails or phone calls.
- Troubleshooting Systems issues within SLA
- Responsible for basic troubleshooting systems to isolate the trouble and take appropriate action to resolve.
Requirement :
Well IT and technical experience and knowledge.
Well experience in Banking systems and Central bank regulations.
Well experience in Unix, Linux and windows OS and MS office.
Well experience in Monitoring tools (OBM, App Dynamic).
Willing to work in 24/7 environment and work under pressure.
English language is must.
